Prior to joining Terra Firma Zach spent 12 years in the British Army. Over the course of his military career he has seen operational deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan where he commanded multinational teams in a wide range of operations in complex, hostile environments.
These operations ranged from the planning, securing and resourcing of a major bridge construction operation over the Helmand river North of the Gereshk power plant providing a vital transportation route in the region, to the management of a coalition training facility in Northern Iraq.
These operations and the many other roles he has had have allowed Zach to develop many skills related to planning, managing, communicating and decision making and he thrives when working in high pressure environments.
With this clearly developed skill of managing complex situations, with multi-skilled, lingual, and disciplinary teams it has been exciting to see how Zach has been able to bring this ability and energy to the Terra Firma projects.
